Summer
Summer at Cornell is a vibrant experience. Professional conferences, youth programs and summer camps, and summer academic students blend in a mix of learning and campus experiences.
Summer kicks off on-campus with Commencement Housing, followed by Reunion and the arrival of undergraduate research programs. Summer session students follow along with youth camps and professional conferences.
Services
We are your exclusive provider for summer meal plan coordination and on-campus housing.
We can assist with as many additional planning services as you would like, from simply a meal plan package, to full conference packages including housing, dining, local excursions, and recreational activities.
Youth Programs
If your event will include individuals under the age of 18 who are unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian, you, the client, are responsible for:
- Ensuring the event complies with Cornell University Policy 8.8: Children and Youth Safety and addressing any additional contractual terms that may apply.
- Meeting all registration, training, background check, and other requirements of the Children and Youth Safety Office (CYS). Review requirements and complete the mandatory event registration on the Children and Youth Safety at Cornell website.
Additionally, programs that include unaccompanied individuals under the age of 18 and also have an on-campus overnight housing component must work with Conference and Event Services (CES) in conjunction with CYS. A signed contract with CES must be submitted as part of the CYS registration process.
For more information, see CYS’s Program Checklist and Guides.
